Both William Bartram and Andre Michaux discover a new pawpaw in 18th century Florida

Welcome to the Paul Rebmann Nature Photography March 2016 Newsletter

The first day of spring is a perfect time to showcase a springtime flower that is found Only in Florida. It is Bigflower Pawpaw, an endemic Florida species that was discovered by both William Bartram and André Michaux in different areas while exploring Florida in the late 1700's. 2016
In 2016 Paul Rebmann will be presenting Only in Florida, a visual program on Florida endemic plants and animals. This program will show images of these interesting and unique inhabitants of the Sunshine state, with information about each. Here is the current schedule for the Only in Florida program:

A solo exhibition of Paul Rebmann photographs titled Only in Florida is on display at the Lyonia Gallery in Deltona through Feb. 1, 2017. For more infromation and a preview of the exhibit see Only in Florida at Wild Florida Photo.
