Frequently found in disturbed sites in most of Florida. This native of Asia occurs in all southeastern states from Texas to Virginia and up through Arkansas, Missouri and Illinois, plus Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

Crotalaria spectabilis is a member of the Fabaceae - Pea family.
