These images are Wells Landing Spring in the Cannon Springs Group, more commonly simply called Cannon Springs. This is the largest and most prominent vent of this group of springs that flow into the Ocklawaha River. Normally under much deeper water, this was during one of the periodic winter drawdowns of the Rodman Reservoir. In one of the images the light on the water in the spring created an impressionistic, almost pointillist style effect. This was not done in photoshop, it is what the camera captured. This is caused by reflected and refracted sunlight on the active surface of the spring boil in an effect called a caustic network.
Canon Springs are among the 'Lost Springs of the Ocklawaha' featured in the film of the same name. Visit lostsprings.org for more information and to watch the documentary online.
