6 more weeks of winter like Florida has had so far is pretty much the same as spring....

Welcome to the Paul Rebmann Nature Photography Newsletter February 2017 edition.

January saw well above average temperatures throughout Florida and numerous record breaking highs in the 80's making the groundhog's prognostication of six more weeks of winter not much of a threat in the Sunshine State, but should make for great weather for upcoming events.

Birds of a Feather Fest
An action packed February for Paul Rebmann Nature Photography starts with the Birds of a Feather Fest in Palm Coast this weekend. As part of this event Paul Rebmann will be leading a Bird Photography Workshop at Varn Park Friday morning Feb. 10 and conducting a Post Processing workshop Friday Afternoon. There is still space available in both of these Friday events and registration can be done online at the Birds of a Feather Fest website. On Saturday Paul will also be co-leader with Greg Miller(of "The Big Year" fame) on the Big Trip to Sweetwater Wetlands in Gainesville. Highlights of Sweetwater Wetlands are sure to include a hobbling of limpkins and a party of black-bellied whistling-ducks.
For more information and to register for any of the events during the festival visit the Birds of a Feather Fest website
